Navathi Celebrations

A year of thanksgiving for ninety years since our first church was consecrated — with worship, service and fellowship for the whole parish family.

“Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.”

— Psalm 90:1

Ninety years of grace

Celebrating our Navathi

On 28 August 1937 the first church at Alencherry was consecrated. Ninety years on, the parish gives thanks for a faith handed down through the generations, and for the God who has been our dwelling place all along.

The Navathi year was inaugurated during the 2026 parish feast and runs until the feast of 2027, with programmes of worship, charity, heritage and fellowship that bring together every family and organization in the parish.
